We were contacted by Direct Cannabis Network as they approached the end of their first year in business. Outreach was good and web traffic had gone through the roof, but they knew they needed a better brand that would support their current interest and help propel them through future stages of growth.
We were tasked with designing a brand that was both professional and inviting, one that opened up the possibilities that DCN saw for it’s future. And we were excited to tackle it!
As a b2b organization representing the professional cannabis industry, Direct Cannabis Network was looking for a brand that would stand out without being over-the-top.
We approached this vision with a range of complementary blue shades and capitalized fonts, creating a brand design that feels trustworthy, knowledgeable, and modern.
Based on their professional, community-centric appeal, we knew that DCN’s logo needed to be a trademark, acting as a “stamp-of-approval” for the network of businesses that follows them.
While all logos need to be easily recognizable, this one had a very uncommon demand as well; it needed to be versatile enough to separate four different news segments, leaving room for more to come.
And so the DCN logo was born, along with four unique variations.
After designing a flashy new look for DCN, we knew they needed an equally flashy way to announce it to the world.
This 40 second animation combines all the basic features of their updated logo & brand, along with an original music clip to really capture the enthusiasm behind the update.
